The FPT NEF N40 170 is a 4-cylinder turbo-aftercooled marine diesel engine from the NEF Series - the widest among FPT Industrial engine families. Features advanced mechanical fuel injection and electronic common rail systems for high, constant power and torque delivery with reliability and low fuel consumption. Suitable for cruisers and yachts up to 18 meters (58 feet). Available in high-performance, light-, medium- and heavy-duty versions with keel-cooled options.
