The Bukh EPA36 Beta lifeboat diesel engine sets new standards for low exhaust emissions and contributes to the reduction of marine environmental pollution. It complies with Tier standards through pre-combustion chamber injection instead of common rail/unit injection, eliminating the need for vulnerable electronic devices and improving operational reliability. This design allowed the engine to pass and obtain US Coast Guard approval for use as lifeboat engines. The Beta series demonstrates outstanding qualities in weight-to-power ratio.
